Surround each clue with lines to form one single loop! Each puzzle consists of a rectangular lattice of dots with some clues in various places. The object is to connect the dots surrounding each clue so that the number of lines equals the value of the clue and the lines around all clues form one continuous loop with no crossings or branches. Empty squares may be surrounded by any number of lines.

Slitherlink are addictive loop-forming puzzles which were invented in Japan. Using pure logic and requiring no math to solve, these fascinating puzzles offer endless fun and intellectual entertainment to puzzle fans of all skills and ages.

The game features 2-finger tapping for quick zoom, auto complete clues setting and a link segment highlighting option to help to avoid creating separate loops. To help see the puzzle progress, graphic previews in the puzzle list show the progress of all puzzles in a volume as they are being solved. A Gallery view option provides these previews in a larger format.

Pros and cons of Slitherlink: Loop the Snake app for iPhone and iPad

Slitherlink: Loop the Snake app good for

I love it but I wish there was a way to jump between the different sections of the Techniques area. Especially down to any tips that are in it.
If you know about the "slither link" puzzle type, youll know exactly what to expect from this app. Simple interface and a large free library.
Probably my favorite of these logic puzzle games. So much more depth than Sudoku imo
They have different difficulty levels and lots of puzzles to do without paying, plus a good value if you support them with a purchase. An eraser control would be nice, although I mostly undo now.
Like all the Conceptis Games, this is an excellent logic game! I loved their games already on their website when they just started their online games, and their App games are in no way less entertaining and challenging. Two thumbs up!!!!
Itd be nice to be able to go to the next level without having to go back to the menu. Otherwise, great game!

Some bad moments

Any app that nags me to write a review gets a one star review.
Good responsiveness; could return to puzzle menu upon successful completion of a puzzle
Its a lot of fun and challenging too. Sometimes a little too challenging since it made me want to throw my iPhone against the wall for a few of those puzzles :)
This is the best interface for SlitherLink I have tried. I havent attempted the in game purchase yet, but probably will just because of the interface being very smooth and intuitive. It would be nice to have some of the auto complete features of the web site, like automatically marking the 0s.
The puzzles themselves are challenging and fun, requiring a different set of logic and thinking than other puzzle games. The only thing keeping this game from getting five stars, though, is the execution. In a previous review I complained about the zoom feature, noting that it doesnt always recognize zoom gestures have been made. This problem has been fixed, but it still doesnt let you zoom in as close as youd like, and its also still far too easy to tap a segment you didnt intend. It would be nice to have something not unlike what exists in the Fill-a-Pix game where, if a box is marked with a 1 and you know which one side is filled in, that a tap would automatically mark the other three sides as not filled.
This game is so much fun. You have the option to check the # of errors, without seeing where the mistakes actually are. Awesome feature for folks who dont like to cheat. ;)
